I am a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, actively involved in my sorority’s philanthropy in support of literacy awareness initiatives and calls to action for students at Holt Elementary in Tuscaloosa, AL.

 

I have worked closely with Refuse to Do Nothing in managing social media platforms, assisting with our multiple missions’ ‘Party with a Purpose’, and encouraging awareness and participation in all of our Refuse to Do Nothing missions. I am so honored to have the opportunity to serve as both a Board Member and the Treasurer for Refuse to Do Nothing!

 

I believe optimism is the secret ingredient for all seasons of life and something that I practice every single day. As the oldest of eight children, five bio siblings, and two foster siblings, this experience allows me to grow in my faith and servant leadership to become the best big sister, citizen, and servant leader I can be. There is no better feeling than changing lives all over the world.

 

The examples set forth by my parents and the support system I have in my life inspire me to fulfill my biblical obligations through little acts of kindness and compassion for others every day.
