A Pillowcase Dress is made out of pillowcases, thread, and ribbon and crafted into a beautiful dress to be sent in bulk for young girls in Uganda, Kenya, Poland, Rwanda, Guatemala, Ecuador, India, Zimbabwe, and the United States.

Each dress provides a unique sense of identity to every girl who receives one.

- Any size new or gently used freezer bags

- Cotton fabric

- Thread​​

- Grossgrain ribbon

- Suitcases

- Financial donations for shipping

All donated materials will be dedicated to the creation of a beautiful pillowcase dress!

 

All monetary donations will aid in the airport checked bag fees which range from $100-$300 per bag depending on the country and based on a 55 lb bag.

 

All donated suitcases will not be returned. If you have a sewing machine please bring one or come and help cut, sort, and package
