Atlanta, GA. (December 2, 2019) – Refuse to Do Nothing is extending the next day where you can help out the organization – Giving Tuesday. Tuesday, December 3rd is the nationally recognized day for giving. But we ask you – why stop there?
For so many, this time of year leading up to the holidays is one of sweetest times to be with family and friends – but for many more it’s also the most lonely and stressful.
Giving Tuesday is December 3rd – but why not extend it four more weeks through the end of the year? What we’re doing is asking all of you to donate just $5 by Tuesday, December 31st.
“Our goal is this year is a bold one, $10,000”, says Bridgitte Hatfield, Founder and CEO of Refuse to Do Nothing. “The plan is to use the donations equally to support our five pillars: clean water, clothes, shoes, shelter and food for those who aren’t as fortunate this time of year, our goal is to put each and every donation to the best possible use.”
We’re also thrilled to announce Total Green Services will be matching each donation received by December 31st – please consider donating asap to double the amount we can provide to those in need.
